Losing weight..
The last couple of months I’ve been trying to lose some weight, not that I feel I’m fat but I’m usually very near the border where my BMI is starting to get in the warning zone. Since diabetes and heart diseases aren’t uncommon in my family I think it’s wise to be a bit slimmer :)
Over the last 2 months I lost approximately 2 kilo’s, unfortunately I’ve managed to get that back in just 1 week time, thus I’ve made up my mind, no more candy, snacks and “kip piri piri” and more important much more physical activity.
This morning I rode the bike to the train station and I walked from Amstel to the office (something I always do) and I will do the same thing on my way home again. The only question now is what to do when I work at home, I’ve got skates and/or track gear so I’m hoping to have some good weather since those sports are kinda outdoors :)
The goal is: lose 5 kilo’s and make them stay off (I’m at 68 now and with my length 63 is a very nice weight) (bmi is 26 now and I would like it near 23). If anyone has good suggestions (and no “but you look good the way you are” crap) let me know ;) (especially when it comes to keeping the weight off)
